NANTES, FR – At just three months of age Jeanne Martel has become a French national hero after she showed incredible courage in the face of tyranny. Six days ago, her parents were kidnapped by an unidentified group of armed assailants outside of their apartment building leaving Jeanne alone inside. She would have been forgiven for caving to the demands of the terrorists and paying them the ransom. Most people would do anything to bring their family home, but not Jeanne. Phone records have shown that the baby has ignored eighty-four calls from the attackers since the kidnapping took place. The authorities themselves did not learn of the incident until the group responsible reached out to the police to see if authorities could get them in touch with Jeanne which they were unable to do. The nation has rallied around her clear and decisive message that the French will not negotiate with terrorists.
