SAN FRANCISCO, CA- Social media giant Twitter has come under fire after billions of its users’ personal thoughts were found publicly exposed on the site. The leak comes just days after other social media sites Facebook, LinkedIn, and Clubhouse experienced their own data breaches.  While those breaches exposed personal information such as names, addresses, and email addresses, Twitter’s leak appears to be more embarrassing than malicious.  The data matches Twitter usernames with short thoughts, ideas, and statuses that expose how empty and meaningless that user’s life really is.  For example, one user wrote “Hitting a baseball without a bat is like tying your shoes without wearing stilts.”.  It is incredibly embarrassing that someone out there would even have a thought so stupidly inane.  That person already must trudge through each day of their vapid existence and now Twitter has gone and publicly shamed them by putting their dullness on display for the world to see.  Millions of other users are facing similar fallout as inconsequential updates on their eating, sleeping, and media consumption have become easily accessible for their family and friends.  Twitter has yet to take the posts down and could not be reached for comment.  For updates on this story follow Paper Slop on twitter at @PaperSlop.
